Hipsling, hip carrier, or would you rather prefer a ring sling?

Right now, if you are in the target demographic, you are likely receiving plenty of ads for hip seats or hip carriers such as the Wildride or cheaper alternatives. These often come from AliExpress or Temu with a new label slapped on them. Very expensive for the quality they offer.

Hip carrier/hip seat for toddlers

These hip seats/hip carriers are fine for larger children. They sit comfortably in the seat. But for you as a parent, it is extremely heavy to carry. A narrow strap hangs on your neck with the full weight of your toddler in it. That is a guarantee for pain in your neck and shoulders after a walk. Because when you carry with a narrow strap on your neck/shoulder, it is extremely heavy.

Hip carrier/hip seat for babies

A hip carrier/hip seat is not suitable for babies who cannot yet sit up independently. They have too little support for their upper back and neck. In addition, the same applies here: the narrow strap is heavy for parents to carry.

Better to use a ring sling!

Prefer to carry your child in a ring sling! That is so much better for you and for your little one!
Children are optimally supported from birth until about 3 or 4 years old. And the weight is perfectly distributed over your shoulder bone, which means the entire weight is much more spread out and you won't have any pain after carrying. This makes it more responsible and much more comfortable for both of you!

For a baby, you can add a neck roll at the neck. For older children, the arms can also be out.

The ring slings from Pure Baby Love are made of high-quality fabrics; organic cotton or organic cotton with linen. These weaves are specially made for a baby wrap or ring sling. They shape nicely around a child.

In short: a ring sling will offer you and your little one more comfort! Ideal for a baby, but also for a toddler who is too tired to walk anymore. Carrying is always lighter than lifting!

Compare for yourself!

Take a good look at the carrying photos! What looks more comfortable? Weight distributed? Or weight on your neck/shoulder muscle? And in which can you be more relaxed? The choice is then often easily made!
