Although we are huge fans of (merino) wool for babies, it makes sense that some parents prefer to choose cotton. Choosing cotton is a good option if you want a 100% natural and safe material, something breathable for the summer, in case of a wool allergy, or for other considerations. 

All seasons

Cotton is suitable for all seasons, but people often prefer cotton in the summer. A single layer of this blanket is perfect in the summer. If it gets colder, we recommend using cotton in layers of clothing and blankets. This is because cotton works differently than wool. 

Wool regulates temperature optimally, ensuring warmth is retained when a child is cold. And if a child is warm, it releases heat. Cotton primarily retains heat. In the summer, 1 layer is really enough, but in the winter, a double layer can sometimes be nice.
